Seeking therapy is a life-changing decision.
Saying “yes” to healing, growth, and change can be one of the most challenging yet most significant decisions you make in life. It requires you to confront your deepest fears and embark on a journey into the depths of your soul, where unhealed wounds, unexamined beliefs, and repressed aspects of yourself stand vigilant.
For these guardians of your inner self to allow safe passage, you must cultivate a specific awareness rooted in creativity, curiosity, and compassion. When met with this awareness, these protectors lay down their defenses and grant you access to the gifts they’ve been safeguarding – keys to survival and thriving.
Sessions with me have three phases.
Each session I offer is an organic unfolding based on three phases: assessment, exploration, and embodiment. We begin by assessing where you’ve been and where you are currently since our last visit – what’s working and what isn’t?
This assessment leads us into the second phase: exploration. I invite you to let go and tune into what needs your attention. I introduce tools and ideas that foster emergent insights and feelings, unlocking new understandings of your current state and future aspirations.
The final phase, embodiment, allows us to anchor what needs to be integrated moving forward. Together, we identify your focus points for the week ahead and explore the right tools and practices to help you embody the new insights that emerge at the edge of your awareness.
My approach is integrative.
This approach addresses four levels of being: body, heart, mind, and soul. Each session covers each level, introducing tools and resources to support their development and integration. Weaving these dimensions together cultivates strength and vision in your experience.
Strength fosters emotional resilience, helping you remain grounded in your highest self during life’s fiercest storms.
Vision opens up creative perspectives, fueling your sense of possibility, purpose, and connection to what matters most.
About Weston Pew, LMHC, LPC.
Three pathways have informed my unique and innovative approach:
- Academic: I hold three master’s degrees – in experiential education, depth psychology, and counseling.
- Professional: I have over a decade of experience guiding individuals and groups through transformational change.
- Personal: My journey through life’s challenges, including a cancer diagnosis, required me to apply the very tools I share with others. This experience has deepened my understanding and refined my perspective on my work.
When not exploring the depths of human experience…
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, savoring good food, listening to and playing music, and embracing outdoor adventures.
Alongside daily rituals like flossing and making my bed, my most cherished practices revolve around laughter and appreciating life’s simple moments.
